OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Alresalah.ps) Agencies — Thousands of Palestinian worshipers from the West Bank and Jerusalem headed since the early hours of the morning to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to pray in the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Palestinian local agencies reported that hundreds of Palestinians lined up at the Israeli checkpoints to enter Jerusalem.

Israeli forces deployed near the checkpoints and in the streets to maintain security in the area.

It's worth noting that Israeli authorities allowed Palestinian men aged over 40 and Palestinian women of all ages in the West Bank to enter Jerusalem without permits until midday on Fridays during Ramadan.
