Gaza hospitals appeal for help, National Government turns a blind eye

GAZA CITY ( -- Gaza Ministry of Health warned earlier against the catastrophe, which is happening in the Gaza Strip due to the shortages of fuel and medicine.

Ashraf al-Qidrah, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, said that lack ofdiesel and medications will probably lead hospitals to stop operating.

Hopital of Emirates Red Cresent in Rafah plead to all people concerned to interfere immediately in oder to save the lives of mothers and children.

Hygiene and food companies stopped their services becuase they were denied their earned money.

Dr. Yousef Abu Reesh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, said that all hospitals are about to stop their work because of the lack of medical supplies and medications needed to heal chronic diseases.

There has been no formal response from theNational Consunsus Government, especially that its ministers, who met in the Gaza Strip weeks ago,  had not visited any hospital in the Gaza Strip, even Shifa Hospital, which is the main hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Youssef Abu Reesh told that the government had not coordinated with the ministry in Gaza,  and never visited the ministry's headquarters in the Gaza Strip. tried to contact the Health minister, who was in Tunisia, but he he apologized for being busy and unable to give statements.

Ministers od the National Government have not been in contact with their personals, since they first came to office.
